By David Caplan ( Heads of Guide Operations for New York Water Taxi)
After spending nearly 25 years beating the pavement in NYC in various sales careers I can now safely say for the first time that I love what I do for a living! My goal as an ambassador to this great city is to give you the info you need to enjoy your stay to the fullest!
Our blog will feature great things to do for you and your family in NYC, fun facts, beautiful photos, trivia quizzes, where to eat and “what’s going on in NYC right now”. Every day, every month and every season something new and exciting is going on in NYC. Hop on one of our boats and enjoy spectacular views from the water of the “City that never sleeps”. When you are ready to tackle the town be ready with places to go and things to do.
NYC is incontrovertibly one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the world. 170 languages are spoken in NY and 36% of the people living here today were born outside the United States. It’s all here for you to enjoy in our arts, music, theatre and of course cuisine.
And speaking of cuisine next week we are going to talk about one of NY’s favorite foods “Pizza”.
Before I go please enjoy today’s trivia question, mystery photo and the photo of the week.
Live from the water with Dave Caplan. This image was taken this week, The well know Ellis Island is just beyond the fog.
Trivia question: Where in NYC will you find a statue of Alice in Wonderland?
