Recently I took our Statue by Night Cruise and seeing Manhattan all lit up, took my breath away.
Here are some of my tips to make the most of your cruise:
- Dress Warm
Make sure to dress warm as it does get chilly in the evening. If you do get cold, there is a climate controlled interior with seating, but the best views are on top.
Insider Tip: If you do decide to stay up top, make sure your scarf is on tight, it can get windy out there!
- Check out the City Lights
The city at night is amazing! As you cruise under the Brooklyn Bridge, with the wind in your hair, you’ll realize there’s no place you’d rather be. Be awe-inspired at New York City’s skyline and how it shines.
Insider Tip: The Statue of Liberty is an awesome sight, but another great view from this location is the city itself. Go to the back of the boat and soak in the city all lit up in the distance.
- Great for All Ages – Bring the Family
The cruise has a live and entertaining guide! Kids of all ages will amused while learning all about New York City’s history. Have a blast seeing all the historic landmarks at night.
- Enjoy the Free Champagne
Need I say more? Upon entering the water taxi you get a free drink ticket (available to those 21 and older with a form of ID). You will be able to use the tickets as the taxi approaches the Statue.
Everything is more memorable with champagne and toasting to Lady Liberty is no exception.
- See the Statue
The Statue of Liberty at night is breathtaking! With the sun going down and the moon coming up, you’ll be sure to get a view to remember. She is a beauty.
- Feeling Adventurous?
You’ve seen the city by water, why not see it by air too? Upgrade your Statue by Night ticket to our VIP Statue by Night: Air & Sea combo package. You’ll enjoy an exclusive helicopter tour over NYC!
